US $100,000 donated for flooding in Cambodia

On October 13, 2020, Lok Oknha Heng Sithy, Chairman of the Board of Maritime Specialized Bank Plc and Lok Chumteav, donated $100,000 USD to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, to aid those affected by the flooding in Cambodia.

US $100,000 donated to the Cambodian Red Cross

On 16 April 2020, Lok Oknha Heng Sithy, Chairman and CEO of Maritime Group, along with Lok Chumteav Vann Samphors, made a generous donation of $100,000 USD to the Cambodian Red Cross. This donation, matching the amount given the previous years, was in honour of the 157th annual celebration of World Red Cross Day on May 8th, 2020.

Cycling for health and the environment

Maritime Specialized Bank Plc. proudly participated in ABC’s 2020 Bankers’ Cycling Event in Siem Reap. Held under the theme 'Ride for Life and Environment,' the event was organised by the Cambodian Cycling Federation and the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), with support from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Tourism, the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), and the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA).

US $1,000,000 donated for the Covid-19 Vaccine in Cambodia

Lok Oknha Heng Sithy, Chairmain of the Board of Directors of Maritime Specialized Bank, and Lok Chumteav generously donated $1 million USD to Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen to support the purchase of Covid-19 vaccines. This donation followed immediately after the Prime Minister announced a budget allocation to provide free Covid-19 vaccines for the Cambodian citizens.

Lok Oknha Heng Sithy has consistently demonstrated generosity in supporting the Royal Government of Cambodia and aiding the Cambodian citizens during times of need.
